Terms & Conditions

Applying to all rental Equipment rental.

Deposits: A small deposit is requested in order to secure the booking for your chosen dates, this is refundable within 14 days, if you choose to cancel your booking, after this time, deposits are non returnable. 

A Damages security deposit is also required, on the day we deliver your rental equipment, along with the appropriate fee for the rental period. The Equipment will be set up and tested for you, at the location in which you intend to use it, by our technician (in the case of audio or lighting).

Your damages  deposit is returned, in full*, on collection of the Equipment, in the condition in which it was delivered. If you paid a cash deposit this can be on the day of collection, or for electronic deposits, within 7/10 working days.

*Should any damage occur to any of the Equipment, the funds to cover replacement, or repair, will be taken from the security deposit. In the case of equipment failure, it will be left to our discretion to decide if this is due to careless usage, or a manufacturing fault in the system. If the damage to the equipment is serious and in no doubt caused by careless use, costing repairs beyond that of the deposit, we reserve the right to legally demand a full replacement fee at current purchasing value. 

Your are responsible for the safe keeping of the equipment during it's use and safe keeping overnight

Electrical equipment should not be used in damp conditions or exposed to rain or splashes

Theft or loss of our equipment is your responsibility during the rental period.

If the equipment is lost or stolen, we reserve the right to legally demand a full replacement fee at current purchasing value. 

While we will try to provide equipment as listed on our website, we reserve the right to offer alternative brands, or equipment of an equal power and quality rating, should we not be able to fulfil the original request or booking. 

A delivery charge will be added for all destinations beyond the Mijas Costa / Fuengirola area, we deliver almost anywhere on the Costa del Sol. Our technician will not leave the equipment with you, until the security deposit and appropriate rental fee has been collected. We will also require a copy, or photograph of your Passport or ID.

Please ensure we have adequate and easy access to the location the equipment is to be transported and set up. If you have obstacles, such as large number of steps, or very steep inclines to the property, please inform us. We can bring extra assistance or equipment to help us with transportation if required. Our delivery drivers and technicians reserve the right to refuse to set up or deliver where the set up is considered in an unreasonably difficult location, without prior warning.

Equipment is booked for the dates you originally provide, should you wish to extend your rental period, you need to contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee to extend the rental period, as we may have other bookings to satisfy.

Please respect the local community, removal of our equipment by the Police, due to complaints, will forfeit the full deposit and possible result in large fines! Any recovery fee for confiscated materials will be required to be paid by yourself.

Liability: You rent this equipment at your own risk, should injury or accident occur during the use of this equipment, Costa del Party will not be held liable. We suggest taking the utmost care in the placement of cables and electrical connections, or when lifting and moving the heavy equipment. You are also responsible for moderating volume levels that could damage hearing. We will demonstrate the equipment for you, but after we leave, it becomes your responsibility.

Electrical Power: As is the case in Spain, not all properties have sufficient power, voltage, earth or amps, to correctly operate professional audio gear and lighting correctly. Most properties close to the Coast are trouble free, however, should the venue be an older property, or located in the countryside, please ensure the property has an adequate supply to run the equipment you wish to hire. If you are in doubt, please ask us for advice.

Costa del Party will try our best to help and provide alternative equipment to run at your location, but we will not be held responsible for equipment failure or power cuts due to an inadequate power supply and the rental fee will still apply.

Complaints and Refunds: If you have a complaint with our service or the equipment provided, this must be addressed with our technician on the collection of the goods. Refunds for faulty equipment will not be given unless the problem is addressed either during the rental period, or on the collection day.
